"The fact that we are all working as a family for this business to grow is so important," Amy says. "Our kids are eating the same food we raise — we sustain the land, the wildlife, the livestock, and our kids. Because of that we are always sensitive to making sure we are doing things the right way, every day."

We are a family operation that raises DNA-verified Akaushi cattle which produce delicious meat with incredible health benefits.
Akaushi beef has higher concentrations of monounsaturated fat relative to saturated fat which, according to the American Heart Association, can lead to lower cholesterol, prevention of coronary heart disease, and weight loss.
Beef from Akaushi cattle also serves as a significant source of oleic acid, a compound found in olive oil that is good for your heart. Finally, Akaushi naturally contains intense marbling that is higher in monounsaturated fat than any other beef in the United States. This marbling also provides Akaushi beef with a rich, buttery flavor as well as juiciness and tenderness throughout.
