OUR PRoducts

Quinn Beef offers high-quality Akaushi beef to our customers, whether local or nationwide. We are focused on producing the best product possible for our customers. Our DNA-verified cattle are fed an all-natural ration that is formulated specifically for the Akaushi breed.

We offer typical and non-typical cuts of beef because we believe there is no bad cut with an Akaushi. Our passion is to showcase how delicious new to you cuts are and how easy they can be to cook. Some of our favorite non-traditional cuts are tri-tip, flat iron steak, beef short ribs, petite tender.

Our processor utilizes research from the Texas Beef Council and Texas A&M to get the highest number of high-quality cuts. We would love to guide you on how to cook an unfamiliar cut. The main recommendation is to reverse sear almost every steak.

Health Benefits of Quinn Beef

Akaushi beef has higher concentrations of monounsaturated fat relative to saturated fat which, according to the American Heart Association, can lead to lower cholesterol, prevention of coronary heart disease, and weight loss.

Beef from Akaushi cattle also serves as a significant source of oleic acid, a compound found in olive oil that is good for your heart. Finally, Akaushi naturally contains intense marbling that is higher in monounsaturated fat than any other beef in the United States. This marbling also provides Akaushi beef with a rich, buttery flavor as well as juiciness and tenderness throughout. More information about the health benefits of Akaushi beef can be found from the American Akaushi Association.

Our Favorite Way to Cook Quinn Beef

At Quinn Beef we love reverse searing our steaks to increase the flavor and delicious of the meat. The process of reverse-searing is really simple – season your Quinn Beef Akaushi thick-cut filet, rib-eye, strip, petite tender, flat iron… we have even done tri-tip or Coulotte. Set your oven or pellet grill between 200 and 275 degrees. You can also do this outdoors by placing the meat directly on the cooler side of a closed grill with half the burners on. Cook until the meat is about 10 to 15 degrees below your desired serving temperature, then take it out and sear it in a ripping-hot skillet, or on a grill that is as hot as you can get it. Then dig into your Quinn Beef Akaushi steak, the best-cooked steak you have ever had in your life!
